Джип-тур на берег Тихого океана

Khalaktyrsky beach is a broad Pacific shoreline covered by pure black sand.
This beach is unique. Black sand is eroded petrified volcanic lava. Its hot stream, burning every living thing on its way, reached the shore, sank into cold waters of the Pacific, and hardened there. Water, wind, and time slowly broke it down, and turned into fine sand.

Turquoise seawater and white foam of oceanic waves beautifully contrast with black color. Black sand provides ground for iris and dog-rose growing nearby. A green thick carpet of grass, cowberries, bog whortleberries, and crowberries creeps farther from the shore.
